Ali’s engineering experience working for a consultancy practice has seen him progress to a senior role as a specialist in mechanical engineering design. Ali has maintained a hands-on approach to his work, balancing design responsibilities with team management.
He offers a commercial design approach which he engenders throughout Design MEP. He has particular specialities in sustainability design, which his team supports with dynamic simulation modelling, daylighting modelling, bespoke ventilation strategies and renewable energy integration.
Ali is self-motivated, enthusiastic and an effective team leader, proven by the timely delivery of successful projects for public and private sector clients.
Gareth Costello
Director
Gareth’s previous role for a mechanical and electrical consultancy saw him open and successfully develop a new M&E consultancy office to cover the east midlands within the city of Leicester.
As a qualified Electrical Engineer Gareth has experience of working on an assortment of projects from large scale refurbishments of Cat A office blocks, universities and colleges to new build hotel and multi-residential developments. The diverse range of sectors and clients allow him to operate in differing roles with extensive experience in formulating concept designs through to the ‘nuts and bolts’ detail expected from our construction team clients.
Gareth maintains an active and practical approach to design and takes satisfaction in provide economic and robust solutions to all our clients. 
Phil Pollard
Director
Phil worked previously as a Director for a national M&E Consultant. Phil is a qualified Electrical Engineer and throughout his career has opened new offices as business start ups and developed Engineers from Graduate to Director level.
With over 35 years’ experience working within the mechanical and electrical design consultancy sector, Phil has worked on a wide range of projects from concept/design/design feasibility stage through to detailed design, project management and site-based services.
Phil is actively involved in project delivery and prides himself on promoting a positive and proactive approach to assisting our clients with a ‘no hassle’ approach to project delivery.
The Office
Our offices are suited for the collaborative working style, our open plan work space ensures all our team members are involved in the project development. We employ and develop some of the most talented engineers in the Industry.
We encourage our staff to develop their professional progression and actively support them in obtaining their professional registrations and any further education if desired.
