RIBA Stage 4 detailed Mechanical, Electrical and Public Health detailed design for a 680 pupil Secondary School and Christian Church, Design MEP developed the schemes from Shell and Core with the Main Contractor, through to a detailed design tender package for Taylor Wimpey. The School, Church and Residential development blocks are Phase 0 of a 20-year Master development programme.
The design solution incorporated district heating and hot water from an Energy Centre incorporated within the adjacent Residential Development. Design MEP redeveloped the design to maximize the use of thermal mass to limit overheating in accordance with TM52 criteria.
